I had a blast performing with my students in downtown Laguna Beach at the third (nearly annual) Jazz Bootcamp on September 22nd. Here's a little video that helps us relive the fun we had that September afternoon.
We played tunes from Gordon Goodwin's "Big Phat Jazz Band" book, and played styles from swing to rock to latin.
It was again such fun that I think we'll do it again in 2014. Shoot me an email if you're interested, and we'll sign you up as we get a little closer to the date.

What a celebration! This album was a long time in the making, and I have my wife, friends, and producer Rob Rinderer to thank for seeing it through to the end. It all happened on November 15th at Time Out Bar and Grill in Aliso Viejo. I had many of the cats from my record, and a few special guests. It was a terrific evening!
